my vision (and yours!)

Hi there!

I'm Fatima, a California-born and -raised optometrist on a mission to see the world and help the world see.

I love my profession and love that, through Kabti Eyewear, I can transform it into a vehicle for social change.

As the daughter of a refugee and a political asylee (who met and married in Minnesota), I know that a single pair of glasses can go a long way in helping a person to thrive. That's why the philanthropic element of Kabti Eyewear is not an afterthought; it's a founding principle. 

I know I'm not the first to create an online optical or the only one promising to match your glasses purchases with a donation, and that makes me glad. Blindness due to uncorrected refractive error is a beast of a problem, so it's all hands on deck!
